Ramune Genzbigelyte-Venturi

Ramunė Genzbigelytė Venturi, Policy Officer for Tourism of the European Commission, works in the Tourism team of the Directorate-General for Transport and Mobility. The team develops and supports EU policy initiatives for a competitive, resilient, and sustainable tourist ecosystem. She is responsible for overviewing sustainability aspects of tourism as well as synergies with the regional and cohesion policy. She also has experience in the Common Fisheries Policy, conservation policy and structural funds policy, while working in the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission. She holds a master's degree in Public Administration and EU Affairs, and another in Philology.
