Rakaya Fetuga

Rakaya Esime Fetuga (United Kingdom) graduated in English and Creative Literature from the Royal Holloway, University of London. He poems focus on issues that are close to her, such as her African heritage, her British identity, empowerment, faith, and women in today’s culture. She was winner of the Spread the Word Young People’s Laureate at the London Poetry Awards 2017. She was also pre-selected at the Out-Spoken Poetry Prize 2018 and won the Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2018.
