Priscila Tapajowara

Photographer and Filmmaker

Priscila Tapajowara is indigenous to the Amazon biome, born in the ancestral territory of the Tapajó people, Santarém, Pará. She was chosen by the EFE and Sanchamama agencies as one of the 100 most committed Latinos for climate action in 2023 and 2024.

Since 2013 he has been showing the struggle and culture of the indigenous peoples through photography and in 2018 she graduated in Audiovisual Production at FAPCOM Faculty. Since then, she acts as director and director of photography. Some films signed as director are "Ãgawaraitá" and "Os Warao de Upaon-Açu" and as director of photography are "Javyju - bom dia" and "Arapyau: Primavera Guarani".

She works as general coordinator at the collective Media Indigena and is the vice president of the InstitutoTerritório das Artes.
