Pilar Soldevila i García

Deputy managing director of the CCCB

Pilar Soldevila has been deputy managing director of the CCCB since January 2022. She has a PhD in Business Administration and Management (Pompeu Fabra University, 2000), a degree in Economic Sciences (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 1990) and a diploma in Economic and Business Sciences (University of Barcelona, 1987).

She was manager of the IDEC Foundation (UPF-Barcelona School of Management, September 2019-December 2021) and has held various positions of municipal direction and management at Barcelona City Council. She has also been the general director of the Balmes University Foundation and the manager of the University of Vic (2009-2011), director of the Business and Economics Department in the Faculty of Business and Communication at the University of Vic (2008-2009), assistant general manager at Lizarran Tabernas Selectas, SA (2001-2007), director of administration and finances at Serveis de l’Espectacle Focus, SA (1992-1997) and assistant auditor at Roca, Vilà i associats (1990-1991).

Soldevila is a member of the Board of Trustees of L’Atlàntida Foundation in Vic (2009-present) and has been a member of the Board of Directors of various municipal companies in Barcelona (2011-2015). In the field of teaching, she has been a collaborating lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Education of the UPF, lectured at Pompeu Fabra University (1993-2008), and taught on various bachelor, master’s and postgraduate degrees.
