Pepe Verdes
Pepe Verdes was born in 1963 in Madrid, where he studied art. His professional life has always been associated with books, starting out in an editorial production company before joining Aguilar publishers (Grupo Santillana, 1996). In 2001 he started work at La Oficina del Autor (Grupo Prisa), a literary agency where he managed the rights of authors such as Manuel Rivas, Fernando Vallejo and Ángel González. In 2010 he was appointed director of the Transversal Business Committee of Grupo Prisa and, in 2012, director of Business Development and Strategic Alliances of Prisa Digital.
In 2014 he launched his first start-up, Manuscritics, a recommender of books for editors, using information provided by the reader community.
