A researcher in cognitive neuroscience in the Department of Psychiatry at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he has written papers on neurolinguistics and neurophilosophy and frequently writes for the press on scientific matters. Among his most recent books are La disolución de la mente (The Dissolution of the Mind, 2002) and Paraula de robot (Word of the Robot, 2003).
