Oriol Clos

Oriol Clos is an architect who, throughout his professional career, has combined private activity—singular urban projects and studies—with teaching Urban Planning and working with public institutions (as architect in chief of the Barcelona City Council and director of the Development and Planning Agency of Lille). He is presently engaged in research as well as consultancy work on urban matters in both Belgium and France. In memory of Manuel de Solà-Morales, he has brought together and edited the book Miradas sobre la ciudad (Views on the City, Acantilado, 2021), a compilation of this Barcelona architect’s ideas on the urban phenomenon.
