Nour Salameh

With a PhD in History from the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona, and a member of UNESCOMED – UNESCO Chair for Intercultural Dialogue in the Mediterranean, she was worked with several institutions, NGOs and other organisations active in conflict zones during the last six years. She is presently working in the Gender Programme of the European Institute of the Mediterranean, as well as providing technical assistance for the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation and teaching in the master’s degree in Contemporary Arab Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Before the Syrian uprising she was a news editor and translator at the Damascus Radio Station and also worked at the Syrian News Agency.
