Nicola Hughes

Nicola Hughes (@DataMinerUK) works as a programmer and data journalist for the British daily newspaper The Times. She left CNN in 2011 to learn how to use code in the start-up ScraperWiki. Her knowledge grew rapidly and in 2012 led to her becoming a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews fellow at the Interactives department of The Guardian. She has also worked at the Centre for Investigative Journalism. She collaborates with  Chicas poderosas. You can follow her projects on her blog Data Miner UK.
