Neus Aguado Giménez
Poet
She is a poet, storyteller and literary critic. She participates in theatrical, literary, journalistic and feminist projects. Graduated in Dramatic Art and Information Sciences, she has worked as a cultural journalist in the Barcelona press, and was co-founder of the magazine Al Vent. Co-founder of the Writers' Committee of PEN Català, she has been secretary general of the Collegiate Association of Writers of Catalonia. She has collaborated in bringing to the stage a variety of poetic works. As an anthologist and translator, she has edited anthologies of Catalan poetry, including those of Maria-Mercè Marçal. She has published, among others, the books Paseo présbita (La Gaya Ciencia, 1982), Juego Cautivo (Laia Editorial, 1986), Ginebra en bruma (Lumen, 1989), Paciencia y barajar (Tusquets, 1990), Aldebarán (Lumen, 2000), Intimidad de la fiebre (El tot de barro, 2005), En el desorden de la casa (Ediciones 1010, 2006), with Marga Ximenez, and Tal vez el Tigre (In-verso Ediciones de Poesía, 2014).
