Nani Miras
Filmmaker
Nani Miras is a trash film director who's been working on amateur and low-budget pieces since 2014, in which she develops a humour of the absurd from a feminist perspective. Her work also includes documentaries along the lines of militant cinema, detailing the actions of numerous social collectives and activists in the city of Barcelona. In 2018 she directed the documentary Aguantant el tipus about the struggle of the workers at the Jaeger Ibérica factory. Beyond her film work, Nani Miras also defines herself as a watercolourist of post-colonialist souls and galactic landscapes, a journalist of dememoralised realities, paper recordist, photographer of enchantments, health cook, mother and constellator of life.
