Mònica Muñoz-Castanyer i Gausset

(Barcelona, 1962). She was Head of Press at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona from January 1999 to December 2023. In 2015 she also took on the post of head of the website and social networks at the Centre.

She was Head of Communication and Press and Head of the Director’s Office of the Fundació Antoni Tàpies from 1991 to 1998, and technician in the Department of Information and Press of Olimpíada Cultural between 1988 and 1991.

She has a degree in Contemporary History of Barcelona (Universitat de Barcelona, 1980-1985) and studies in journalism.

She teaches on the Master’s Degree in Cultural Management at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and on the Master’s Degree in Cultural Production and Communication at the Universitat Ramon Llull-Blanquerna.
