Miquel Rodríguez

Miquel Rodríguez Planas is Economic Promotion Director of the Barcelona City Council, and is responsible for the executive management of economic promotion services, trade, markets, consumption, tourism, international economic promotion, science, and universities. He holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a PDD from IESE, a master’s degree in Management of Information and Knowledge in Organizations from the UOC, and has also completed the master’s degree in Public Management at ESADE-UAB-UPF. From 2019 to 2022 he was Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda of the Barcelona City Council, and has been Head of the First Mayoral Office for the last year.
