Miguel Brieva

Miguel Brieva is a biped and rational being on some occasions, who was born in Seville in 1974. Apart from ingesting food and breathing oxygen with relative frequency, he also collaborates with a few publications, such as Diagonal, El Jueves, Mondo Bruto, Vacaciones en Polonia, La Vanguardia, Rolling Stone, Cinemanía and El País. He is the author of Dinero, Bienvenido al Mundo and El Otro Mundo. He has also made animations for cinema and the odd documentary, he published, together with Silvia Nanclares, the children’s story Al final and is currently illustrating the complete series of Ethics and Philosophy text books for ESO and Batxillerat for the publisher Akal. Often, while he sharpens his pencil, he whistles unrecognizable tunes, which seems to give him some kind of pleasure. He sometimes sneezes.
