After connecting with Hip Hop through break dance in 1984, he first picked up a felt-tip pen in 1986 to create an alias for himself. The following year he wrote his first rap in English.

In 1991 he created the group Geronación. Its demo recording Pa Representar (To Represent), now considered a classic, is the best-selling disc in the history of Spanish rap. In 2001, Geronación became the first national rap group to "do the Americas", which is to say Chile. In 2004, the first contacts with Spoken Word in the USA were made. In 2008, Metro resumed work on an old project, LaTecnika, with a musical production called Amor Material (Material Love), which was very well received and also recognised by some professional bloggers and journalists as the "Spanish rap disc of the year"
