Marta Selva

Marta Selva Masoliver, graduated in Modern and Contemporary history from the UAB, professor of Film and Television Theory and Analysis at the URV, professor of the Master of Creative Documentary at the UAB, of the Diploma in Culture of Peace (UAB) and tutor of the degree projects of the UAB Faculty of Communication. Co-director of the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona from 1993-2003 and 2011-2015. Member of the Drac Màgic cooperative, he collaborates in different media as a political analyst and is responsible, together with Anna Solà, of the Pensar el cine section of the journal Cuadernos de Pedagogía. She has also been a professor at the Open University of Catalonia and the Pompeu Fabra University and has published different works on the relationships between pedagogy and cinema, gender perspective and feminisms in the fields of communication, history and cinema, television and advertising. Between 2003 and 2010 she held the position of President of the Institut Català de les Dones.
