Marisol López
Cultural Manager specialised in the digital field
Marisol López (Barcelona, 1963) is a cCultural Manager specialised in the digital field, she works in the Catalan Government’s Department of Culture, where she heads the Digital Culture Area within the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC). The ICEC understands digital culture as the result of the constantly changing relationship between humans and the new technologies of the digital age, including all the possible intersections between traditional artistic languages and digital tools that create innovative mutations of the traditional forms of expression. The main aims of the Digital Culture Area are to build links between culture and technology, work with digital companies and help cultural sectors to make the digital shift.
