María Sánchez

Country vet and writer

She works on a regular basis in digital and paper media, writing about literature, feminism, livestock farming and culture, and the rural milieu. She coordinates the project Las entrañas del texto, from which she invites readers to reflect on the process of creation, and also Almáciga (Geoplaneta, 2020), a small rural word hatchery for the different languages of the territory.  She has published the collection of poems Cuaderno de campo (La Bella Varsovia, 2017) and the essay Tierra de mujeres (Seix Barral, 2019). Her poems have been translated into French, Portuguese, Romanian, Polish and English.
