Maria Barrier

With a Degree in Anthropology from the University of Barcelona and a Post-graduate Degree in Digital Communication and Journalism, María Barrier co-hosts the podcast Bimboficadas together with Samantha Hudson. Under the premise of the “bimbo” movement and the “dumb blonde” archetype, María and Samantha serve up an assortment of controversial topics in a conversational format from the comfort of their living room, where irony and irreverent humour are the common threads for discussing topics such as gender identity, job insecurity or mental health. As a journalist, María has worked for Acero and Metal Magazine, as well as giving talks in collaboration with Filmin and musical artists such as Juicy Bae and Jimena Amarillo.
