Mar C. Llop
(Barcelona 1967-2022) A freelance photographer and activist of the trans* people’s association Generem!, she studied photography at the Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia, and video making at the Image Centre. In 1996 she set up her first studio and, since then, had worked in publishing and advertising, specialising in interior design, architecture, fashion, and portraits. Since 2013 she had worked on the project Construccions identitàries Work in progress on gender diversity, which has been much discussed in the media. Together with Andrea Basave and with support from Chrysallis, the association of families of transsexual children, she also worked on the project Construccions identitàries Famílies.
