Manuel Jabois

Manuel Jabois is a journalist in the very first person, born in Sanxenxo (Pontevedra, Spain) in 1978. He is also a Real Madrid supporter from Pontevedra, but we’ll overlook that. He likes to boast of European Cups and amorous adventures, despite recently putting on the odd paternal kilo over the eight. Everything that happens to him in life is turned to humorous and double-edged account in an article for Diario de Pontevedra, El Mundo or Jot Down magazine. An experiential, warts-and-all columnist by definition, Jabois sets himself up in his books as a scapegoat for himself. “I have come here to make a fool of myself”, as he said in his excellent compilation of chronicles Irse a Madrid y otras columnas (Ed. Pepitas de Calabaza, 2011).
