Manuel Aristarán

Manuel Aristarán (@manuelaristaran) is a programming engineer. He has worked on websites, recommendation algorithms, logic systems, tools for public data and software for satellites. In 2010 he developed the independent project Gasto Publico Bahiense, a tool for exploring, visualising and finding out purchase data published by the Municipality of Bahía Blanca (Argentina), his home town. He is currently working as a grant holder on the programme Knight-Mozilla OpenNews for the Buenos Aires daily La Nación.
