M. E. O'Brien

M. E. O’Brien writes about gender and communist theory as well as coediting two magazines, Pinko on gay communism, and Parapraxis on psychoanalytic theory and politics. With a PhD from the University of New York, she is coauthor of the novel Everything for Everyone: An Oral History of the New York Commune, 2052-2072 (Common Notions, 2022) and also author of the essay Family Abolition. Capitalism and the Communizing of Care (Pluto Press, 2023).
