L'Última Merda

L’Última Merda are four young people involved in the endogamous, flawed, precarious and amazing world that is the performing arts. In response to the maxim “don’t think, act!”, so commonly used in the world of theatre, they believe that taking action is the best way to think, and that listening is the best tool to build the future we want for the cultural sector, in a way that is horizontal, collective and diverse. Instead of simply ranting about everything between tweets and beers (or, in fact, after having done so for a long time), in 2021, L’Última Mierda decided to stop moaning and take action, generating unique meeting spaces with the aim of hearing the sector’s demands and finding other ways of relating to each other. They were nominated for the Revelation Award at the Cultural Management Awards 2023 organised by the APGCC (the Cultural Management Professionals’ Association of Catalonia).
