Luis Benvenuty

A journalist with a degree in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Granada, he has a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Barcelona. He was the Barcelonès Nord correspondent for the daily La Vanguardia from 2000 to 2014, and presently writes for the supplement “Viure”. In 2008 he published Mudanzas (Moves, RBA), a journalistic novel about immigration in the metropolitan area of Barcelona which was awarded the Josep Maria Huertas Claveria Prize. He has recently published another book, Ojalá te suba todo (I Hope It All Gets Better, Carena, 2014).
