Laura Tabarés (La Pícara Justina)

Laura Tabarés (León, 1991) is an artist and cultural manager. She is the creator of La Pícara Justina, an Instagram meme account that uses intrusive thoughts, post-cyberfeminist aesthetics and beefs to address mental health, gender abuse and precariousness. The account was created as a counterpoint to the masculinised neo-comedy-of-manners humour that scorns new sensibilities in the country’s Internet.
