Josep Maria Miró

Author, director and journalist.

He is the author of Gang Bang (Obert fins l’hora de l’Àngelus) –Teatre Nacional de Catalunya- La dona que perdia tots els avions –Premi Born–, Una història explicada del revés, o no –Teatre Lliure–, La dona i el debutant –Premi Teatre Principal–, Quan encara no sabíem res –International Finalist Stückmarkt and Premi Crèdit Andorrà–, 360” –Premi Marqués de Bradomín– and Les dones de Caín –Premi Ramon Vinyes– and the playwrights award with Com si entrés en una pàtria and Cocaïna, absenta, pastilles de valda i cafè amb llet.

He has directed his own work, the opera La Voix Humaine and several creative shows. He has worked as Director’s Assistant to Xavier Albertí and to the choreographer Germana Civera and he has been a television scriptwriter.

He has worked as a journalist at COM Ràdio, RNE, Ràdio Sant Cugat, El 9 Nou and the UNESCO Magazine in Catalonia.
