Josep Báguena

A geographer with a master’s degree in Urban Planning, he has been an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Girona (UdG), as well as teaching researcher at the National School of State Public Works (ENTPE), Lyon. A researcher and subsequently head of the Department of Territorial Studies at the Barcelona Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies (IERMB. ), he has also been advisor to the Department of Territorial Policy and Public Works of the Government of Catalonia, and is presently head of Territorial Analysis and Planning at the Diputació de Barcelona (Barcelona Provincial Council).
