Jorge Semprún

Thinker and writer, he was minister of culture in the Spanish government between 1988 and 1991. His most recent works, include Veinte años y un día (2003) and Pensar en Europa (2006). His literary works have garnered numerous awards, including the Premio Planeta (1977), Prix Fémina (1995) and Jerusalem Prize (1996).
