Jorge Dioni

With a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he has worked with newspapers (Sport, Marca and Metro), radio (SER, RNE and Ràdio Gràcia), magazines (GQ and El estado mental), and in the area of institutional communication (Asociación de Clubes de Baloncesto, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia). He has also been a proofreader and editor for several institutions and companies. He is currently giving reading and writing workshops at the School of Writers, as well as working in the field of corporate communication for Doble H Multimedia, and with La Marea, El País, and Vanity Fair, for which he writes about opera. His first book La España de las piscinas (Spain of the Swimming Pools, Arpa, 2021), received the Book of the Year award of the Madrid Booksellers Guild. His most recent essay is El malestar de las ciudades (The Unease of Cities, Arpa, 2023).
