Javier Blánquez

Journalist and music critic

Javier Blánquez (Barcelona, 1975) is a journalist and a music and literary critic. He regularly writes for periodical publications such as El Mundo (Tendències, La Luna de Metròpoli), PlayGround and Time Out Barcelona, among others. He has coordinated books on the history of music such as Loops: Una historia de la música electrónica (Mondadori, 2002) with Omar Morera, and Teen Spirit: De viaje por el pop independiente (Mondadori, 2004), with Juan Manuel Freire.
