Isabelle Mamadou

 Activist and human rights defender. Since 2013 she has led the strategies of the Spanish NGO Movement for Peace (MPDL) in the Valencian Community. She currently coordinates the Implementation Team of the International Decade for People of African Descent program of the United Nations in Spain, whose mission is to contribute to the protection and promotion of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of Afro-descendants. Mamadou has a degree in Social Work, a Postgraduate Degree in Humanitarian Aid and a Master's Degree in International Relations. She later completed her training in Human Rights at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London.
