Helena Satué
Violinist Helena Satué began studying violin at the age of five years. Subsequent to obtaining qualifications at the Conservatory of Barcelona and the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music in Madrid, and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, since 2009 Helen has been furthering her studies at the Hochschule für Musik Köln with teacher Mihaela Martin.
Ranked among the elite of young Spanish musicians, the critics have described her as a violinist of exceptional talent, with an absolute and virtuous mastery of the instrument, and of first-class level due to her refined and elegant technique.
Helena won her first competition at the age of twelve years, followed by numerous prizes and awards at different national and international competitions. Her artistic experience has included orchestra, chamber and solo performances.
She is currently a member of the Qvixote Quartet and teacher of violin at the Higher School of Music of Catalonia.
She plays a “Guarneri del Gesù” violin dating from 1740.
