Fulvio Ferrari

After obtaining a degree in Chemistry in 1965, he worked as a designer and producer of lights after 1970. In 1984 he was curator of the exhibition Italienisches Design 1951-1973 in Munich. Between 1985 and 1993 he was director of a decorative arts gallery. He has also published catalogues with texts on the ceramics and enamelwork of Ettore Sottsass, the furniture of Carlo Mollino, and of Gabetti and Isola, in addition to three volumes on the history of Carlo Mollino’s photography, “Lampade”,“Anomale” and “Discoteca”. In 1999 he founded the Casa Mollino museum in Turin and, in 2006, he was curator of the retrospectives “Carlo Mollino Arabesques” in the Turin Gallery of Modern Art and in the Castle of Rivoli. In 2011, together with the Haus der Kunst in Munich, he coordinated the exhibition “Carlo Mollino. Maniera Moderna”.
