Fèlix Fanés
(Barcelona, 1948). Professor of Art History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
He has published numerous studies on 20th-century art, film and literature. He curated the exhibition Dalí. Mass Culture (CaixaForum, Barcelona /Reina Sofía, Madrid, 2004) and Dalí and Films (Tate Modern, London / MoMA, New York, 2007). His book Diari de guerra. Nova York, tardor 2001 (War Diary. New York, Autumn 2001, L’Avenç, 2011) describes the time the author spent in New York during the three months after the attacks on the Twin Towers. Fanés takes the pulse of a city that, ten years ago, was gripped by fear in the wake of 9/11.
