Félix Azón

Member of the General Council of the Judicial Powerfor.

(Osca, 1955). With a degree in law from the University of Zaragoza, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In 2002 he was appointed Technical Counsel to the Spanish General Council of the Judicial Power, where he occupied several different posts working in the field of continuing education for professionals. Also engaged in the university sphere, he has been Associate Professor at the Open University of Aragon, the University of Madrid, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He has lectured and written widely on legal issues and the right to work. In 2006 he joined the High Court of Catalonia and, since 2008, he has been a member of the General Council of the Judicial Power, where he is head of the section for Jurisdiction of Labour and Social Security. In 2010, the Government of Catalonia recognised his work with the “Government of Catalonia’s Mention of Honour for Achievement in the Sphere of Justice”.
