Extraperlo
A vital group for understanding the Barcelona sound of recent years, Extraperlo is the best recent example of the Catalan capital’s pop groups attracted by risk and the abyss. They are the natural heirs to bold, exciting groups like Claustrofobia and El Último de la Fila, and are orbited by many important new bands with common interests and members (El Guincho, Capitán and Granit, among others). On the heels of their refreshing Desayuno Continental, they’ve released a second album, Delirio específico, which takes their obsessive mix and ultra-personal commitment one step further.
