Eva Serra

Eva Serra (Barcelona, 1942) is professor Emeritus at the University of Barcelona (UB), has also taught at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). She is a member of the Historical-Archaeological Section of the Institute for Catalan Studies (IEC). A specialist in agrarian history and the institutional history of Catalonia, she coordinates the publication of texts from the modern centuries of the Corts Catalanes (Catalan Courts, the policy-making body of Catalonia from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century) by the Department of Justice of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia, and the IEC-sponsored project of publishing the Llibres de l’Ànima (1498 – 1713) of the Diputació del General (General Council) and of the City of Barcelona.
