Elena Albareda

Architect

With a master’s degree in Architecture, Energy, and Environment, she is a founding member of the cooperative Cíclica [space · community · ecology] where she coordinates projects that respond to the challenges of climate change with resilient urban models based on ecology and social equity.

In her professional practice she combines research and teaching at the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV), where she is a lecturer in the Department of Urbanism and Regional Planning, and working with several international universities. Among other prizes, she has received the Bauwelt Award in 2017 and the European Prize for Urban Public Space in 2016.
