Don’t Hit a la Negrx

Artistic collective

Don’t Hit a la Negrx describes itself as an emotional community of queer migrants who use the channels of pleasure, partying and enjoyment to resist the onslaught of racism perpetrated by the Spanish State. It is linked with different anti-racist, transfeminist activist communities in the cities of Barcelona and Madrid. As a dissident artistic collective, it has been holding events in self-managed spaces, social centres and commercial venues for the past five years with the aim of generating new possibilities and supporting new emerging talent from the Queer Black/Brown and Yellow community in Spain. The money raised through these events goes to support funds for trans, queer and migrant people to solve common problems related to housing, legal expenses and health issues.
