Domingo Gimeno

Domingo Gimeno is a Professor of Petrology and Geochemistry at the University of Barcelona. He has studied volcanic rocks and eruptions in different parts of the world (Garrotxa, Canary Islands, Sardinia, Tuscany and Lazio, Aeolian Islands, Etna, Vesuvius, El Salvador, Argentina, Chile, Iceland) and also deals with, among other topics, of the history of volcanology. Among other works, he has directed five doctoral theses on volcanism.
