David Nobbs

David Nobbs is a novelist and the creator of The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin, based on his novel of the same name of 1975, the acme of British black humour. Born in 1935 in Kent, Nobbs studied at Cambridge and wrote radio and television scripts for many humorists of the time. He has published almost 20 novels, The Fall and Rise of Gordon Coppinge (HarperCollins, 2012) being the most recent.
