David Link

In 2004 he wrote his thesis, Poetry Machines / Machine Poetry, at the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Multimedia Art Academy in Cologne. Between 2009 and 2011, he occupied the Chair of Experimental Technologies in the Artistic Context at the Visual Arts Academy in Leipzig. David Link’s research centres on the interrelation between art, science and technology, using generative art.

At the start of his career, David Link founded and edited ARTIC, an art and philosophy journal. He also set up the Codelab group in Berlin. Since 1997, numerous festivals and institutions have hosted his computer art installations and performances. Poetry Machine (2012) forms part of the permanent collection of the ZKM, Zentrum für Kunst und Medien in Karlsruhe.

Participated in the CCCB's exhibition "The Thinking Machine" exhibition with the work MEDITATIONES. In metaphysical lab laboratorynbsp;(2016).
