Consuelo Bautista

She is a graduate in Advertising at Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Colombia). Nowadays she lives in Barcelona an is an independant photographer. The last 25 years she has been working in projects in Cuba, Colombia, Israel, Montengro, Asturias, Barcelona, Morocco, Senegal and Mexico of documentary photography but with an author's vision. Her projects have been shown and published in several national and international media, magazines and catalogues. In 2007 she was awarded with the Plastics Art of the City of Barcelona prize for the project "A los invisibles". She has collaborated with La Vanguardia and El Periódico and she is a photographer for El País. She is a founder of the association Centre de Fotografia Documental de Barcelona lafotobcn.
