Carmen Salas

Architect

Carmen Salas (1996) is an architect based in Barcelona and resident on the internet. A sort of digital flaneuse, she has made microblogging her medium for exploring and mapping the paths that connect the virtual and the emotional worlds. Through her social media profiles, she shares incisive reflections that cut through the social and cultural fabrics. Her insightful gaze, as she casts an acerbic but tender eye over the world of everyday affairs, has matured in the confines of the web. Her small observations dissect reality and allow her to understand her own experiences and obsessions. Her virtual wanderings, together with her need to constantly give her opinion, have led to contributions to talks, podcasts, blogs and newsletters.
