Bromo

Digital artists

Bromo is a collective led by soundtrack composer Paloma Peñarrubia and lighting designer and visual content developer Azael Ferrer. It was founded in 2017 as a live audiovisual digital art project exploring social, environmental, and scientific issues like erosion, space exploration, and genetic engineering. Their projects extend beyond experimental music and generative audiovisual art as, in their search for new tools for communication and a process of inquiry that is very like academic research, they create transformative experiences that prompt reflection in their audiences. With their first and second shows, Traces of Erosion and No Signal, they have made their way into digital art, art and science, and even film festivals.
