Barbara Nadel

Barbara Nadel graduated in Psychology; she worked for several years at a psychiatric hospital with schizophrenics and delinquents with mental health problems.

Her literary career began in 1999 with the publication of the novel Belshazzer's Daughter, which was followed by A Chemical Prison (2000), Arabesk (2001), Deep Waters (2002), Harem (2003) and Petrified (2004). Her works have been translated into various languages. She currently lives on the outskirts of London and devotes herself exclusively to writing.
