Andrea Geyer

Andrea Geyer’s work addresses the construction of time at the intersection of politics, culture and history. With a particular focus on women, her works engage potent social and political situations to critically reflect on the ideologies of their existing temporal translations.

Her work has been exhibited at: MoMA, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Tate Modern, London; Serpentine Gallery, London; Generali Foundation, Vienna; Secession, Vienna; Witte De With, Rotterdam; and dOCUMENTA (12), Kassel. She lives and works in New York and is represented by Galerie Thomas Zander, Cologne.
