Alfredo Sanzol

Alfredo Sanzol holds a degree in Law from the University of Navarra and in Stage Direction from RESAD. In 1999 he directed Como los griegos (nominated for Best Breakthrough Show at the 2000 Max Awards), and a year later he wrote and directed Carrusel Palace (winner of the Short Theatre Marathon in Madrid), directed Cous Cous and Churros and created the television comedy show Living Lavapiés, broadcast by Telemadrid.

In 2003, 2004 and 2005 he wrote and directed Móviles, Calleidoscopio and Cómo levantar piedras, for València Escena Oberta. In 2006 he wrote and directed Risas i Destrucción, which was staged in La Cuarta Pared theatre in Madrid. In 2008 he directed Sí, pero no lo soy, based on his own script (which received for nominations for Max Awards in 2009) and performed in the National Dramatic Arts Centre. A year later he directed La cabeza del Bautista by Valle Inclán at the Valle Inclán Theatre in the CDN, and in 2010 he wrote and directed Delicades, a production by T de Teatre for the Grec Festival in Barcelona, and Días estupendos, produced by Lazona at the CDN.
