Alfonso Armada

Alfonso Armada is a journalist, and presently heads the digital magazine fronterad as editor and director. He has worked in different branches of the media around the world and covered the siege of Sarajevo and the Rwanda genocide. The experiences which have most marked his perspective as a journalist derive from his time as correspondent in Africa for El País and in New York for ABC. He has written several books, outstanding amongst which are Diccionario de Nueva York (The New York Dictionary – Península, 2010), Fracaso de Tánger (The Failure of Tangier – Valparaíso Ediciones, 2013), Sarajevo. Diario de una travesía (Sarajevo: Diary of a Crossing – Malpaso, 2015), and Por carreteras secundarias (On Side Roads – Malpaso, 2018).
